Students attending the Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes are housed in residences that are used by Stanford undergraduates during the regular school year. Students enrolled in the same course are housed together, along with the Residential Counselors who also serve as teaching assistants for that course. Residences range in size, housing between 20 and 40 students and between five and seven Summer Institutes residential staff members. Rooms for boys and girls are on separate floors, or in separate parts of the residence.
“I loved being able to live on campus. I loved the Stanford architecture, and really felt like I was a part of the campus community.”
