Summer Courses

The following courses are the majority of those offered as part of Stanford's summer quarter. It is important that you review any stated prerequisites to ensure that you meet the requirements for each course. This list is provided here for your convenience. Once you have been accepted into our program, you will register for classes using Axess — Stanford's online registration system. International students requiring visa documents from Stanford University must wait until they are physically on campus before registering for courses.

Session dates and times for courses are available in Axess. To help with planning for the summer, you may log in to Axess as a Guest. The Guest Menu is located in the left hand margin of the main Axess page. A student ID is not required to view Stanford's summer courses. Course day, time, and units are subject to change. Courses are eight weeks long unless otherwise noted in the course description or details.

In general, courses numbered from 1 through 99 are primarily for first- and second-year undergraduates; courses numbered from 100 through 199 are for third- and fourth-year undergraduates; and those from 200 through 699 are for graduate students. This list is subject to change: additional courses may be added or updated through the start of the quarter.
