Discover for yourself the social and academic thrills of campus life at Stanford, one of the world's premier universities. Stanford's courses are unrivaled in their broad range and appeal, providing the framework to help you better understand the world and develop your own academic interests.

Current high school juniors and seniors are eligible to apply to Stanford's High School Summer College program; applications from accomplished and mature high school sophomores will also be considered. Students must be at least age 16 by June 23. Summer College students take eight-week undergraduate courses and earn Stanford University credit. As emerging scholars, students are treated with respect for their intellectual capabilities. Participants explore the sciences, humanities, arts, business, and languages.

Our Undergraduate & Graduate Summer Programs offer open admission to visiting college students and adults. Summer Session classes at Stanford feature open enrollment, accessible faculty, small classes, a diverse student body, and a stunning campus. Summer visitors take eight week courses in the schools of Humanities and Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Engineering. Credit earned may be eligible for transfer to another college or university.
